Ubiqomm LLC develops end to end systems in a wide range of for wireless communications technologies such as personal communications systems, IoT, mobile satellite communications systems, fixed satellite communications systems such as broadband access to home and enterprise, aeronautical communications systems, and position location systems.
The company caries out the initial feasibility study, detailed system design, hardware and software implementation including any ASICs and devices. Once the technology is commercialized and deployed, Ubiqomm LLC will provide ongoing technology support and evolution, as well as products in areas such as system software and ASICs. Ubiqomm LLC will enable the eco-system with reference design, ASICs and system software to allow partners to build end user, home and enterprise devices and any required infrastructure equipment. The company uses a flexible ASIC platform to develop system software, firmware, and DSP code and digital hardware for a wide range of communications systems.
Ubiqomm offers a suite of Managed Services including Systems Integration, Build Operate and Transfer as well as a complete turnkey fully Managed Service.
The company is actively acquiring spectrum licenses which it considers to be strategically important.
Ubiqomm LLC also provides consulting services to study specific frequency bands, and to propose systems and services to make most efficient use of the spectrum.
Dr. Massih Tayebi is also Chairman of Skyriver Business Broadband and Chairman & CEO of BridgeWest LLC, a private equity investment company focused on emerging wireless technologies. Previously, Dr. Tayebi was Co-Founder and CEO of RapidBridge a semiconductor IP and ASIC design company acquired by Qualcomm in 2012. Prior to RapidBridge, Dr. Tayebi was Co-Founder and Chairman of Wireless Facilities, Inc. (NASDAQ: WFI), a global leader in telecommunications outsourcing.
Ahmad has more than 25 of years experience developing wireless technologies in the areas of personal communications systems, satellite communication systems, and air to ground systems. Most recently, Ahmad was VP and GM of a business unit at Qualcomm developing technologies and products for satellite and aeronautical systems. Ahmad conceived and lead the regulatory, technology development and business development for the Next Generation Air to Ground system in the 14-14.5 GHz band that has passed the NPRM (Notice of Proposed Rule Making) at the FCC.
Dr. Tayebi has been involved in founding, financing, and managing numerous companies. He founded, built, and managed WFI, the leading global services firm to the wireless industry, with over 2,700 employees and operations in over 60 countries. On September 17, 2003, Wireless Facilities Inc. announced it had changed its name to Kratos Defense & Security Solutions.
Chris has over 30 years experience in the semiconductor, enterprise computing, POS and, especially, wireless industries including MNO. Chris spent 13 years at Qualcomm principally as VP Corporate Business Development. Chris’ focus is the successful commercialization of new wireless technologies. Chris also heads ATG Business Development for SkyRiver Broadband, Ubiqomm’s strategic partner for ATG.
